Suzanne Muller is a photographer specializing in portrait and vintage fashion photography, known for her cinematic and glamorous aesthetic. Her work features orchestrated scenes in which fashion, makeup, hairstyling, environment, lighting, model, and textiles seamlessly fuse into a beautifully crafted visual whole.

When she’s not behind the camera, she can be found behind the drums with her rock band, Rhinorino.

During her final year at art school, Suzanne interned with photographer Patricia Steur, where she continued to work from 2007 to 2018 as both P.A. and photographer for Patricia Steur Studio.

Her graduation series was selected for the ‘Jong Talent’ exhibition in Terneuzen — a showcase highlighting eight promising graduates from Dutch art academies. This recognition led to various exhibitions and magazine publications in the following years, including a Belofte Grote Paul in 2010.

In 2015, Suzanne traveled to Las Vegas to create her personal photo project ‘Viva Las Vegas Vintage’, a selection of which was published in Vintage Lifestyle Magazine. The series features striking portraits of visitors and participants of the Viva Las Vegas festival, the world’s largest rockabilly event. It was followed by the ‘Vintage Hairstyle Series’ — a collection of six female portraits showcasing vintage-inspired hair creations from 1890 to 1960. A male counterpart is currently in development.

Suzanne is currently working on a women empowerment project that portrays women as elemental forces — fire, earth, wind, and air. These fashion portraits unite expressive lighting, fluid movement, textured fabrics, and compelling models in a powerful symbiosis with their surroundings.
